My Lovely Lola

I was able to take some photographs of some beautiful little girls modeling bows and other accessories from the new business “My Lovely Lola”. Go and check out their booth at the Rifle Farmer’s Market every Friday evening. They have tons of cute bows and other items like skirts, wand, bags, etc for great prices!

Family photoshoot at Skyline Ranch in Carbonale, CO

I was super excited to do this photo shoot in Carbondale. I just love the views of Mt. Sopris! The beautiful family that I got to photograph, trains show horses at Skyline Ranch-what an amazing job! The parents have two adorable kids, a three-year old boy and about a nine-month old girl.

Photoshoot at Rifle, CO beautiful BLM land

A couple of weeks ago I was able to take some photos for the cute Halper family. It was a little bit of an adventure getting up to our photo spot. It required a bit of offroading in a jeep on some slightly muddy trails from the recent rain we had received. In fact, I think a had to Photoshop a few mud stains off their clothes. But it was worth it- we had beautiful views of Rifle and the surrounding areas. There was a field full of Colorado’s columbine flowers, unfortunately a lot of them were looking pretty sad. In short, Mayara is from Brazil, came to the states a few years ago, met Eddie, got married, and now have a beautiful little girl, who’s about 18 months old. They decided to get some family photos done while Mayara’s little sister was here in Rifle visiting. This is the first time her sister has been to the U.S. She was a great help with the photoshoot.

Rifle, CO newborn: Emmett

This adorable little boy was 10 days old when we took these photos. I appreciate how his mom let me get a little creative on some of the pictures. I love trying to make them personal and unique. They had a ton of cool props I could use. Emmett was sleeping so well in the bucket that we didn’t want to disturb him; so a lot of the poses he’s in the pail but in a new location at their house i.e. with his dad’s tires, tools, engines, motorcycle, etc. We quickly tried in the end to get a picture of their 2 dogs checking out the newest member of the family- but it was a bit challenging with the huge loud dogs and the bright sun… oh well. Hope you enjoy the pictures- I had a blast taking them!
